@henriklinder was amazing @londonbassguitarshow - the keyboard player had the most exquisite feel. Really chilled and focussed; at points he looked lost in it. Smiles between them at points also infectious. #music #londonbassguitarshow #bass #keyboard #bassguitar #dirtyloops

Yesterday saw a little bit of Guerrilla bass with the little Roland Micro-cube. Myself and @jajiiofficial met for a quick Jam in the Oracle in Reading until after an hour a security guy - who loved what we were playing and took Jajii’s Facebook details - said I’d have to put the bass away 😂😋 great fun and we got a fair number of passing spectators. No money was demanded, only smiles and good vibes.

AbSynth has some truly odd sounds. Love what this does to a speaker. #music #bass

Oooooo, this @ehx Bass Clone Chorus is gorgeous. Tone for days and warm as you like. Got this one as apparently it can produce some good “extreme” sounds as well as subtle ones; more expensive pedals had apparent limited range. TO THE MAX etc #music #bass #gas

Rebuild pedalboard KLAXXON! This is one task my personality can really get into. My experiments with pedals (I’m usually a multiFX Guy) has yielded enough surprising tone that the pedal count needs a bigger board. So... I GOT A BIGGER BOARD. @gear4music did next day on this without asking and delivered yesterday, bless ‘em. So now the synth rack is going to get a serious mounting. Looking forward to the Great Arrangement... it’s all for the new project in the new year, exciting times #blog #musician #bass #synth

Step 1 to kicking the blues out: go for a ride. October weather couldn't be sweeter for this. The moot brewery beer is nice too... #ThanksWeatherGods

Open Mic night down at the Redan bar in Wokingham. During the summer it's all outdoors out back, but its moved back inside. Suddenly it's like an oven in here! Full band is on call, the house already has 2 sax players, 2 drummers and 3 bassists. The inimitable Jack Craig is on guitar. The mans's a machine. The quality of the musicians at this is daunting - the PA is great too: actual live mixing. The sax is getting an excellent reverb treatment as I type. Moody. #blog

Music night out on by Laaz of Laaz Readirock. Good acts, just jammed with a looper act and on with the Old Souls @ezra78 @silqemusic @demetriuslawrence @jajiiofficial soon. #blog #music #bass #basslife
